The Menorcan Foundation of the Opera and the Association of Friends of the Opera of Maó celebrate their 55th season with the staging of A Ballo in Maschera, an opera by Giuseppe Verdi (1813-1901) in three acts, inspired by the book of Eugè3 Squé.
The work tells of the dramatic love triangle between three characters - Riccardo, Amélia and Renat- that culminates in the murder of King Gustavo III of Sweden, victim of a lide conspiracy
