Astronomy experience at Talatí de Dalt

Step into a magical night at the archaeological site of Talatí de Dalt, one of the most emblematic places in Menorca’s Talayotic heritage.

This unique experience brings archaeology and astronomy together to directly support the excavation of this ancient site. Beneath a star-filled sky, you will discover both the past and the heavens from a sacred place with more than 3,000 years of history.

Led by a monitor certified by the Starlight Foundation and by the team of archaeologists working at the site itself, we will explore history, mythology and the summer sky of Menorca.

With this experience, you will:

• Learn about the history and uniqueness of Talatí de Dalt
• Discover what it is like to excavate a Talayotic settlement from the inside
• Learn to identify stars and constellations in the summer sky
• Hear mythological stories linked to the stars
