Guided stargazing with Polaris Menorca

An exclusive session with a brief introduction to astronomy, giving you the essential background to understand and appreciate the more subtle objects we will observe through the instruments, such as star clusters, nebulae and galaxies. We will use star charts and explore how the universe works, including planets, the moon, stellar cycles, magnitudes, constellations and the stories behind them, along with any personal questions you may have. After that, we will use the naked eye to find north, identify the summer or winter triangle, spot the Milky Way and more. You will also have access to astronomical binoculars and state-of-the-art telescopes to observe some of the highlights of the deep sky that night, including the moon’s craters, Saturn’s rings, Jupiter’s moons and a wide variety of celestial objects such as galaxies, star clusters and nebulae.
